1031 CF Properties Acquires Two Assisted Living Facilities in Florida and Texas

By Thomas P. Roussel | August 1, 2024

[IRVINE, CA], August 1, 2024 – 1031 CF Properties is pleased to announce its recent acquisition of two senior housing facilities utilizing capital from its bridge fund offerings. The first property is Wayman Place, a 60-unit assisted living facility located in Longwood, FL, which will be managed by Gold Choice Senior Management, and the second is Gold Choice North Brook, a 48-unit assisted living and memory care facility in McKinney, TX, to be managed by SRI Management.

The senior housing sector is currently navigating a landscape marked by demographic shifts, strong demand, rising occupancies, and minimal new supply. “We believe these acquisitions position our bridge funds to capitalize on the growing need for quality senior housing,” says President and CEO Edward E. Fernandez. “As the aging population continues to expand, so does the demand for senior housing facilities.”

1031 CF Properties is now targeting opportunistic and value-add assets as part of their broader investment strategy.  This leverages 1031 Crowdfunding’s industry leading healthcare real estate platform in order to identify and acquire investments at attractive pricing.

“These acquisitions reflect our ongoing strategy to invest in communities that offer exceptional services while delivering value to our investors,” says Fernandez.
